Arts Administration

Growing up near Boston, Massachusetts I was constantly surrounded by theatre. I was unaware how lucky I was to be engulfed in such a rich theatre community and that this was not something everyone experienced. I was also uninformed that participating in the arts is often a luxury for people, when it should be accessible to all. While attending college, I realized this inequity and wanted to become an active participant for change. This is where my work in Arts Administration began.
As an administrator, my primary career goals have centered around improving accessibility and inclusion within theatre. And while I have had to do my fair share of calling patrons and organizing events, I believe the true power of arts administration lies in not only what you can do as an individual to help in the operations of a specific theatre, but to elevate a community as a whole.
